General Terms and Conditions

I. Introductory provisions

1. These general terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) of Lux divina z.ú., ID No.08196486, with its registered office at Spolupráce 1232/6
Praha, 14000 (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”) govern the mutual rights and obligations of the contracting parties in connection with the conclusion of a purchase agreement, the subject of which is a ticket to the Erosophia Festival (hereinafter referred to as the “Festival”).
2. Only natural persons over the age of 18 who meet the conditions specified in Article III and the Erosophia Festival Visitor Rules (hereinafter referred to as the “participant”) may participate in the festival.
3. By clicking on the “reserve” button on the website https://www.erosophiafestival.com/ during the purchase process for the selected ticket, the participant agrees to these GTC and the Festival Visitor Rules, as well as to the conditions for the provision of personal data, which are published on the website https://erosophiafestival.com/cookie-policy-eu.
4. The organizer reserves the right to change the festival program.
5. The contract represented by this document enters into force from the 01/01/2026 and remains valid until otherwise specified.

II. Tickets

1. Festival tickets can be reserved in advance online at https://www.erosophiafestival.com/. Tickets are available in three price categories,
in which the ticket price increases as the festival date approaches.
2. Tickets can only be purchased for all days of the festival. It is not possible to purchase a ticket for only one day or for one block of the program.

 

Ticket booking and purchase process 

1.  Those interested in purchasing tickets should select one of the ticket options. A form will appear, which they should fill in with the information necessary to complete the reservation (name, contact details, declaration of age, etc.).
2.  The price of the ticket is final, no other tax cost shall be added to it.

4. The ticket will be paid in the currency selected during the checkout process.

3. After successfully submitting the completed form, the purchaser will receive a request to pay for the tickets using one of the specified payment methods.

5. The purchaser is free to modify the data introduced in the designated fields until clicking the payment confirmation. once done the information sent is binding unless otherwise clarified directly with the provider. 
6. After successfully submitting the completed form, the ticket purchaser will receive a request to pay the ticket price by one of the methods provided.

7. Personal payment information, such as bank card number, will not be made known to the provider and will be handled fully by the payment gateway service.
8. If tickets are sold out, the organizer will announce the end of sales at https://www.erosophiafestival.com/.
9. If the festival capacity is not full, tickets can also be purchased on the day and at the venue of the event at an increased price published both on the website https://www.erosophiafestival.com/ and at the festival reception at the venue.
10. The purchase contract is concluded after the purchase price for the ticket has been paid (hereinafter also referred to as the “purchased ticket”), on the payment gateway, and the provider has received a confirmation of payment and receipt for it.
After paying for the ticket, the participant will receive a payment confirmation at the email address provided, which they will present upon arrival at the venue on the day of the event for which they purchased the ticket.

11. Any issues that arise during or after the purchase process will be resolved by the organizer via email at info@erosophiafestival.com.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. All ticket purchases are final. Once purchased, tickets may not be refunded, exchanged, resold, or transferred to another person under any circumstances, except where required by applicable law or expressly approved in writing by the Organizer.

III. Information for participants – consumers

1. A consumer is any person who, outside the scope of their business activities or outside the scope of their independent professional activities, enters into a contract with an entrepreneur or otherwise deals with them.
2. The customer is obliged to familiarize themselves with the date of the event to which the ticket relates. The customer expressly agrees to the provision of services by the organizer on the date of the event.
3. The customer acknowledges that, in accordance with Section 1837(j) of the Civil Code, they are not entitled to withdraw from the contract concluded under Article II. paragraph 2.

4. At the event venue, the organizer provides space to its partners and cooperating persons (hereinafter referred to as “sellers”) for the sale of additional goods (promotional items, books, jewelry , clothing, etc.), whereby each seller is responsible for the quality of the goods sold and any disputes with consumers arising from purchase contracts.
The consumer has the right to resolve the dispute out of court. The entity responsible for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, with its registered office in Prague 2, Štěpánská 567/15, postal code 120 00, www.coi.cz. Consumers have the right to out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes arising from purchase contracts. Each party bears its own costs. Supervision of compliance with obligations under the Consumer Protection Act is carried out by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz).

IV. Final provisions

1. Any disputes between the organizer and the participant shall be resolved primarily through amicable means so that both parties reach a mutual understanding. If this fails, the disputes shall be resolved by the general courts of the Czech Republic in accordance with Czech law.
2. These terms and conditions shall take effect on December 1, 2025.

3.The provider is entitled to amend these terms and conditions to a reasonable extent, in particular for reasons caused by changes in legislation.
4. Each new version of the terms and conditions will be published on the organizer’s website before the date of its effectiveness.

Visitor rules for the Erosophia Festival

    1. These erosophia Festival Visitor Rules are internal guidelines of Lux divina z.ú. (hereinafter referred to as the “organizer”) and apply to all participants of the Erosophia Festival who have purchased a ticket to the Erosophia Festival or are cooperating with the organizer in creating the Erosophia Festival program or are involved in its organization (hereinafter referred to as “participant or participants”).
    2. By purchasing a ticket, the participant also agreed to the Erosophia Festival Visitor Rules.
    3. Participation in the festival is only possible after reaching the age of 18. Participation of persons under the age of 18 (minors) is not permitted in the festival program.
    4. Participation in the festival is not recommended for persons who are taking medication for mental illness, anyone who has used psychoactive substances in the last 3 years, anyone who has been diagnosed with epilepsy, central nervous system disease, schizophrenia or similar mental illness, or anyone who is emotionally or mentally unstable or suffering from a serious illness.
    5. Participants understand that the organizer is not responsible for any health complications resulting from these disorders. By purchasing a ticket and participating in the festival, participants declare that their health condition does not prevent them from attending the festival.
    6. Participation in the festival is not possible for persons under the influence of intoxicating substances, including alcohol. Failure to comply with this obligation will result in expulsion from the venue without entitlement to a refund of the ticket price

    7. The content of individual lectures and workshops is compiled and created exclusively by the lecturer or lecturers who lead the relevant program. The program might contain nudity. By purchasing the ticket to the event the participant acknowledges they are aware of this situation. Each participant is obliged to choose a program that matches their interests, and physical abilities and inner well being, and does not conflict with their aesthetic and moral values, and to leave the program immediately if they subsequently find that this is not the case. They are free to return to the activity if they wish so, on their own responsibility and out of their own choice.

    8. Minors may only stay at the festival venue by prior agreement with the event organizers, accompanied by a festival participant over the age of 18 and under strict conditions in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic. In such a case, the participant over the age of 18 is fully responsible for the minor and undertakes to ensure that they do not participate in activities that could endanger their moral development.
    9. Admission to the festival program is strictly prohibited for persons under the age of 18.
    10. The organizer does not provide childcare or supervision of minors on the festival grounds.

    11. The services offered by the provider are educational and of entertainment. the content of which is announced in the various event programs and promotion offered on the website and during the event.

    12. The organizer reserves the right to change the festival program before or during the event.

     

    a. Obligations of participants

    1. Participants are required to follow the organizer’s instructions.
    2. Upon arrival on the day of the festival, each participant will receive a non-transferable identification bracelet at the festival reception upon presentation of a valid electronic ticket code, which will then entitle them to enter the program. Visitors are required to wear it visibly (e.g., on their wrist) and present it to the organizers during random checks during the festival.
    3. Festival participants agree to behave in accordance with the rules of decent behavior, maintain order, and behave considerately towards others and the event venue.
    4. Everyone shall act in such a way as not to cause any damage.
    5. Participants are required to keep an eye on their personal belongings, leave them only in designated areas, and respect that the cloakroom areas are not intended for storing valuables (watches, jewelry, glasses, cell phones, valuable fashion accessories, etc.).
    6. The organizer reserves the right to warn participants about inappropriate behavior that disturbs others, as well as participants who do not respect the organizer’s instructions, and after a second warning, to expel the participant from the event venue for violating these Visitor Rules, even with the assistance of law enforcement authorities, without the right to a refund of the admission fee.

    b. Photography, recording and rights

      1. Participants agree to refrain from taking any photographs or video recordings during individual parts of the Erosophia festival program in order to protect personal data. In the event of a breach of this obligation, they agree to voluntarily allow the deletion of recordings from their devices.
      2. Photography or recording of any kind during the program is only permitted for persons designated by the organizer, wearing a name tag with the Erosophia festival logo and the title “photographer.”
      3. Each participant GRANTS CONSENT to the publication of photographs taken by the organizer for promotional purposes upon arrival at the festival reception. In the event of non-consent, they undertake to allow the organizer to capture their image so that any photographs of persons without consent can be identified and deleted.

      4. All the content of this website including information, pictures, videos and design are the property of the providers. It is forbiden to reproduce or used without the explicit consent and agreement in writting of the owner.

      5. The information offered is for educational purposes and its application is under the individual responsibility of the participant. The provider has takes no upholds to responsibility to the results of the individual practice of the participants. 

      6. The information offered is the property of the provider and cannot be used by the participant to create educational material such as written articles or courses, without the explicit written consent of the provider.
